Renowned chef Min Kim has traveled the world honing his skills in some of the world’s top kitchens. He started his culinary journey in Korea before heading to Japan to work in myriad Michelin-starred restaurants. From there, he headed to Australia and then made the jump to the southern coast of China to help open Wynn Palace Macau in 2016, where he earned Michelin stars for Mizumi Macau. Lucky for us, Kim’s craft has brought him to Las Vegas as the newly minted executive chef of Mizumi at Wynn Las Vegas. “I really want to take things to the next level by enhancing dishes and creating new items,” shares Kim. “I’m trying to make Mizumi the best Japanese restaurant in Vegas.” Here, Kim reveals his muses outside of the kitchen.
