Meet Chef Khaled AlBanna, a masterful culinary artist who brings a unique blend of flavors and traditions to his dishes. Born and raised in Amman, Jordan, Khaled’s passion for cooking was instilled in him from a young age by his mother, where he learned invaluable skills and techniques. After studying Civil Engineering at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Khaled realized his true calling and pursued a career in the culinary arts. He has since made a name for himself as the Executive Chef at Whiskey Thief and Whitebird Restaurant at The Edwin Hotel and co-founded Calliope Restaurant, where he blends his Southern influences with his Levantine cooking style, bringing the best of both worlds to the table. From open fire cooking to traditional Levant culture and traditions, Chef Khaled’s dishes are a delicious reflection of his journey and expertise.
