In 2014, owner Michael Rosen saw the potential in an old abandoned warehouse on the northern edge of San Diego’s Little Italy and decided it was time to start a serious conversation about food, wine, local ingredients, and what they are all capable of when treated with passion, precision, and inventiveness.
Founded by Owner Michael Rosen, and featuring James Beard Nominated Chef Anthony Wells at the helm of the kitchen, Juniper & Ivy provides an ever-changing menu based on the fresh ingredients brought in from our local farmers and fishermen each day. Intimidating or unfamiliar ingredients are presented in nostalgic, comforting ways, while the more familiar are prepared with new, unique technique, creating a nightly menu of extraordinary offerings.
Backed by an all-star team, including Lead Pastry Chef Lindsay Sipress and General Manager Anna Shin, Juniper & Ivy consistently and relentlessly produces one of the most talked about dining experiences in San Diego.
