Spending $1000 for Marketing?

We owned a restaurant for last 4 years and then one of the consultant approach us about increasing marketing and pr in the industry with 6 months agreement for $1000 per month and ads budget are separate, the main thing is they are giving us trackable sales from their side means.
I can see how many customers are coming from the campaign and how much they are spending, Do you spending approx $1500-$2000 is worth a shot or anyone applied this type of marketing before.I am still confused because their is no trial straight 6 months agreement. Kindly guide me.Thanks in advance
